Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Color-Coated Aluminum Coil: Characteristics and Applications
Aluminum-magnesium-manganese color-coated aluminum coil is a high-performance metal coil with aluminum as the base material, added with magnesium and manganese alloy elements, and a composite color coating on the surface. It combines the excellent performance of aluminum alloys with the decorative properties of color coatings, and is widely used in construction, transportation and other fields.
I. Core Characteristics
Balancing Lightweight and High Strength: The base material contains magnesium and manganese alloy elements, which significantly reduce the material density (only about 1/3 of that of steel), facilitating transportation and construction, while significantly improving tensile strength and deformation resistance. It can withstand external forces such as wind pressure and snow loads for a long time.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: A dense oxide film is naturally formed on the surface of the aluminum base material, and magnesium and manganese alloys further enhance corrosion resistance; the outer color coating (mostly made of PVDF, PE and other materials) forms double protection, which can resist acid rain, salt spray (such as in coastal areas), industrial waste gas and other erosion, with a service life of 20-30 years.
Excellent Plasticity and Adaptability: The material is flexible and easy to process, and can be made into complex shapes such as arcs and sectors through rolling, bending and other processes, adapting to the design needs of different building roofs and walls. Moreover, the coating is not easy to crack or fall off during processing.
